25 per cent price increase unsustainable in long term

  • Hamilton real estate agents are warning a 25 per cent average house price increase can’t last and if prices keep rocketing any fall will be harder when it comes.

There are not enough houses coming on to the market to meet buyer demand and disappointment at the point of sale has been pushing prices even higher.

February 2015 was the “catalyst month” in Hamilton said Lugton’s managing director Simon Lugton and set off a hot run in sales volumes throughout the year.
