- Four of the five new apartments in a former Wellington church have sold, with the agent saying prices “blew away some records” for the area.
“The interest was huge,” said agent Pano Focas of Leaders in Real Estate. “I have never been so run off my feet in 12 years in real estate.”
More than 10 tenders were received for each apartment in the rebuilt historic St James Presbyterian Church in Newtown’s Adelaide Rd, opposite Wellington Hospital He could not reveal the selling prices until after settlement, but says they “exceeded expectations”.
