Homeowners making millions without lifting a finger

  • THE day Matthew and Selina Cheeney sold their Malabar home was like cashing in a winning lottery ticket.

Their five-bedroom house changed hands last week for just shy of $2 million more than they bought it for five-and-a-half years ago, despite them making no structural changes to the home.

This earned them nearly $350,000 a year, or about $1000 a day.
