Kiwi couple off to Queensland island to run Sir Richard Branson’s hideaway

  • It must be one of the most sought-after jobs in the world, and it’s gone to a Kiwi couple.

Cantabrians Lyndsay and Paul Jobin have been contracted to run Makepeace Island – Sir Richard Branson’s exclusive retreat in Queensland.

The couple, who are currently general manager and executive chef, respectively, of the upmarket Annandale Lodge on Banks Peninsula, leave their present jobs on Thursday and will start on Makepeace on May 16.
