- An ex-state house, lacking walls due to prior P contamination and still with high levels of lead, has sold in Auckland for $1.13 million.
The three-bedroom, one-bathroom house on one of Herne Bay’s coveted avenues is one half of a duplex – the other half of which is owned by Housing New Zealand.
The Kelmarna Avenue property was tested in December for the nature and extent of methamphetamine contamination.
