• Details of the final shape of Christchurch’s convention centre precinct have been hammered out this week, as one of the developers signals it could pull out of the project.

However, the scheme itself appears to still be on track.

On Wednesday the Crown met its chosen development consortium Plenary Conventions New Zealand, comprising Australian-based infrastructure firm Plenary Group and local investor-developers Carter Group and Ngai Tahu Property.
