- Highlanders’ loose forward Joe Wheeler may not have picked his fiancee as much of a ‘do it yourselfer” but he “couldn’t be prouder” of his leading lady.
“It is strange, it’s bloody cool though,” says the 28-year-old Super 15 star of seeing his girlfriend, Courtney MacKay, on the back of buses and all over billboards as one of the contestants in the new season of The Block, which starts on TV3 tonight.
“I guess that’s how Court must feel when she sees footy articles about me,” he said.
