- An international retailer has taken the place of one of Dick Smith’s most prominent sites in Queen St, Auckland, as the electronics chain’s former landlords search for new tenants.
Dick Smith which closed at the start of May after collapsing into receivership, originally had 62 stores in New Zealand, leased from a variety of landlords.
Colliers International has been charged with finding new retailers for 25 of the sites. Its national retail director, Leroy Wolland, said 10 had been taken so far.
