Two major Christchurch hotels, Novotel and ibis, go up for sale

  • Two of Christchurch’s largest hotels have been put on the market as high tourism numbers fuel a near-record level of hotel sales in New Zealand.

The 154-room Novotel and the 155-room ibis are up for sale individually or together.

Dean Humphries, national director of hotels for Colliers International, said they were the largest tranche of hotel accommodation to be offered for sale in the entire South Island over the last five years.
