If a decent snow storm takes out the power for a few days, it won’t matter because the house has its own electricity supply – the house is not, and probably never will be, connected to the national grid.
Owners John and Barbara Corcoran say they chose to build “off the grid” for a number of reasons, and the weather was one of them.
