• Labour leader Andrew Little agreed house prices in Auckland should cost in the “ballpark” of $500,000 as an affordable level under the party’s new policy.

Labour will reveal this weekend a “comprehensive package” for building more affordable housing around the country.

Pricing would differ around the country, Little told RNZ, adding: “I’ll give a figure on Sunday, but we think that we’ve got a figure that is affordable.”
