• They have been blamed for raising property prices around the country, but in reality, Auckland property investors don’t tend to roam far.

That’s according to research firm CoreLogic, which has analysed QV data from the past six months, while the market digested new lending and tax regulations.

The data shows Auckland investors are mostly active in the top of the North Island, with a 2 to 3 per cent effect elsewhere.
