Boxing legend David Tua fronts Onehunga Park Up For Homes event

  • David Tua is calling on the Government to “deliver a knock-out” to Auckland’s housing crisis.

The boxing legend, his wife Helen, and Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board member Josephine Bartley are the organisers of the latest ‘Park Up For Homes’ event, to be held in Onehunga on Saturday.

The events see families sleep in their cars overnight in solidarity with the country’s homeless.

Hundreds turned out to previous park-ups in south Auckland’s Mangere and Otara.
