A buyer of a property on one of Auckland’s most exclusive streets has lost a legal battle to claim he was misled by the previous owner.
The case was heard by the High Court in Auckland in February, and the judgment released this week.
Zhaowu Shen, who speaks Mandarin but not English, bought the home from Andrey Yurievich Ossyanin, who speaks Russian but not English, in 2013.
