eXp New Zealand has significantly expanded its footprint across the country, tripling its local agent count as it accelerates growth in an increasingly competitive real estate market.
The brokerage has confirmed that 45 real estate sales agents, previously operating under the Independent Agent brand, have joined its New Zealand division this month.
The move lifts eXp New Zealand’s total agent numbers from 20 to 65, dramatically increasing its visibility and service reach across both the North and South Islands, including key metropolitan and regional markets.
eXp says the expansion positions the business as one of the fastest-growing real estate networks in New Zealand, reflecting broader structural changes underway across the real estate sector.
Industry observers note that shifting agent expectations — including greater flexibility, alternative commission structures, technology-led platforms, and national scale — are increasingly influencing brokerage affiliation decisions.
