Finance Minister Grant Robertson and National’s Finance Spokesperson Paul Goldsmith are set to go head to head in a game of Monopoly for charity.
The Cancer Society is auctioning off the chance to join the game on Trade Me, which comes as Auckland’s Daffodil Day fundraiser is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Here is your once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase your financial planning skills against two of our finance politicians,” the advertisement says.
“The Hon Grant Robertson and the Hon Paul Goldsmith are stepping out of the chamber and taking on the greatest of all financial challenges – a game of Monopoly NZ edition.
“Will they go for broke, or put money away for a rainy day? Will they join forces? Or are they playing winner takes all?”
