A Singapore company, which owns and operates luxury hotels around the world, has bought two Wellington hotels for an undisclosed sum.
Naumi Hotels has entered into an agreement to buy CQ Hotels Wellington on Cuba St, which includes three-star Comfort Hotel and the four-star Quality Hotel.
Naumi plans to redevelop and rebrand the neighbouring hotels. It will be known as Naumi Wellington.
Naumi Hotels Australia and New Zealand chief executive Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala said the company saw a lot of potential in Wellington for something “new and vibrant”.
