Christchurch residents and visitors will be able to enjoy new riverside bars, central city cinemas, a farmers’ market, a new swimming pool complex, and a new library in 2018.
More than half a billion dollars worth of developments are nearing completion and are set to open across the city this year.
Antony Gough’s $140 million riverfront development The Terrace is almost complete and a new $50m Hoyts cinema development on the corner of Colombo and Lichfield streets is also due to open this year.
