RE/MAX New Zealand recently recognised the network’s top performers for 2020 at its annual awards in Auckland, with a capacity crowd turning out for the event.
“We are all prospering after a year we never saw coming,” RE/MAX New Zealand CEO Don Ha told the audience at the Hilton Auckland late last month.
The night’s most coveted award for business owners – Broker Owner of the Year – went to husband-and-wife team, Ben and Nola Kloppers of RE/MAX Realty Group.
The ‘Pinnacle Enterprise’ Award, which is based on a franchisee’s total business, including sales and property management divisions, was presented to RE/MAX Partners, which is owned by Frank Cui and Preet Kaur, from the team who also won Administrator of the Year.
This year, Mr Ha introduced a new award, the CEO Cup, and the evening’s formalities culminated with the inaugural honour being bestowed on Corinna Mansell, General Manager of RE/MAX Partners in Flatbush.
“The recipient is my choice alone,” Mr Ha said.
“Each year I will look for the one person who stands out as a brand ambassador, a person who has demonstrated brand growth through recruitment and retention and who has clearly supported their sales team, other franchises in our network, their own family and their community.
“Corinna is a true champion who makes an outstanding and selfless contribution to all these parties. I hope that being the first recipient of this award will always be something very special.”
Team Lewis from RE/MAX Revolution and Team Jerry from RE/MAX Partners, who were both recently named in the top 20 RE/MAX sales teams globally, were the winning sales teams.
Lisa Walden from RE/MAX Stars and Charlotte Wilson from RE/MAX Realty Group both won individual awards for sales. Tania Fasher, from RE/MAX Leading Edge, won Top Commercial Individual. RE/MAX Stars was named ‘Most Productive Office’.
Among the other individual winners were RE/MAX Team Realty’s Gordon Huang, who was named ‘Young Agent of the Year’ and Loren Lopez from RE/MAX Realty Group, who won ‘Rookie of the Year’.
Sales associate Yasemin Mead and her office, RE/MAX Stars, won both the ‘Special Achievement in Marketing’ award categories.
Ms Mead also took out the individual category of the ‘Business Growth’ award while RE/MAX Realty Group won the office category.
RE/MAX Partners was named the Top Individual Office for both sales transactions and commission, and RE/MAX Edge was the top multi-office winner.
Eight agents were also announced as RE/MAX International Hall of Fame inductees. They were Charlotte Wilson, from RE/MAX Realty Group; Vinson Jin, Linda Eden and Eileen Becker, from RE/MAX Partners; Kate Bradley and Janice Emery, from RE/MAX Elite; Darren Young, from RE/MAX One; and Melanie Stevens, RE/MAX Team Realty.
