A woman ordered out of her brother’s $2 million home after living there mostly rent-free for 36 years has been given a reprieve.
The decades-long dispute between Virginia Woolf and her brother, Alwyn Kaye, came to a head in a series of hearings at the High Court at Auckland this year.
It centred on a house in the Auckland suburb of Epsom where Woolf had lived since 1982, for most of the time paying no rent.
