The winning house from last year’s series of reality renovation TV show The Block is still for sale, more than two months after its original buyer failed to settle.

Rumours swirled earlier this year that a white knight had swooped in to buy Jimmy and Tam’s 1950s-style home, but no claim has been lodged on the title and the home is still available.

Potential buyers have been touring the stylish Palm Springs-inspired residence, which features five bedrooms, a pool, barbecue, Gaggenau kitchen appliances and double garage.

It comes as the Melbourne property market has been rising strongly this year so far, with a February auction clearance rate of 75.3 per cent, the highest since April 2017.

“House 5 is currently for sale off market through McGrath estate agents, who originally had the listing,” The Block executive producer and co-creator Julian Cress said in a statement to Domain.

“Potential buyers and some buyers advocates have been taken through the home.
