Sabrina Carpenter has opened up about a spot in Sydney where she doesn’t feel her best.
The American singer, currently touring as Taylor Swift’s opening act during her Eras Tour in Australia, shared during an interview on 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin show on Friday that she’s thoroughly enjoying her time exploring Down Under.
Expressing her fondness for the city, Carpenter admitted that Sydney holds a special place in her heart. However, she confessed that Bondi Beach can make her feel less confident due to the abundance of attractive people there.

“I’m not just saying this to flatter you guys, because I know people often praise Australia, but honestly, it’s one of my favorite cities ever,” she shared on the show. “Everywhere in Australia is amazing, but Sydney is just exceptionally special.”

During the interview, Carpenter also praised the delicious food, friendly people, and the fantastic crowds at the shows. However, radio host Erin Molan jokingly chimed in, suggesting that if Carpenter wanted to feel less attractive, she should visit Bondi.
“I was there yesterday, and I have to agree with you. I’ve never felt more out of place,” Carpenter responded.
In addition to her role as Swift’s support act, Carpenter joined the global superstar for dinner at Pellegrino 2000, a popular trattoria in Surry Hills, Sydney.
Known for its Italian cuisine and wine selection, Pellegrino 2000 has attracted a host of celebrity patrons, including Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift themselves.
Carpenter stunned in a red minidress with white fringe detailing for the outing, paired with a classic Louis Vuitton handbag and a black leather jacket for the unpredictable Sydney weather.

Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter arrived in Australia last week and have already performed several shows in Melbourne. They are set to perform in Sydney before moving on to Singapore for the next leg of the tour.
