Five months after their Block NZ victory, Lisa Ridout-Gordan and partner Christopher “Ribz” Gordon are still in reno mode.
They spent the Christmas-New Year break tackling their own “horrible bach” bathroom that Ridout-Gordon says hasn’t been touched since the 80s.
“It is actually like being on The Block because we’ve got a Portaloo. It’s like having PTSD, seriously, I’m having flashbacks,” said Ridout-Gordon, about a week into the process.
Now it’s all done, Ridout-Gordon confirmed the work “still takes three weeks, no matter if you’re on The Block or not”.
“Wolfie would not be happy.”
