A former Northern Beaches real estate agent has avoided jail time after admitting to stealing $31,085 from his clients two years ago.
Timothy Peter Smith was on Thursday sentenced to a 15-month intensive corrections order, which includes performing 100 hours of community service work and undertaking a rehabilitation program.
Smith was convicted of four counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and two counts of using false documents to obtain financial advantage.
