A derelict home on the exclusive Wamberal beachfront strip has been recently purchased by a Sydney buyer for $2.45 million.
The property at 89 Ocean View Dr was on the market for 42 days before it was sold.
Once a meeting place for locals, the abandoned cottage was well-known to the Wamberal surf community – the Sydney owners allowed people to sit on the veranda or grassy yard. It was wrecked by vandals about 18 months ago.
