Some big thinking Christchurch developers have come to grief with their new apartment complex in Linwood.

Developers Ivan Presquito and Vincent Ho first came to attention in 2016 with plans to build Cathedral Towers, a $60 million, 50-apartment complex in Cathedral Square.

However a humbler project has given them a rough start in the city.

Their company Three Trees, which was behind a 31-apartment complex in Stanmore Rd, Linwood, went bust last month owing $1.23m in GST and about $110,000 to unsecured creditors.
