REA Group Senior Economist Eleanor Creagh says overseas interest in the Australian property market has reached its highest level since PropTrack records began in 2019. Ms Creagh said there is a lot more interest from overseas buyers and renters. “We did see a big uptick with Chinese searches to rent – at the highest level in three years in February as the Chinese government mandated that return to face-to-face study,” she told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
