A real estate agent from Sydney has died while on holiday in Bali.
Local police said Charlie James Bradley was found unresponsive in the middle of the road in front of Bhaktivedanta Clinic in north Kuta on Sunday after leaving a club in the popular Indonesian tourism destination.
The 28-year-old had made the trip to Bali with a friend on Thursday to attend a music festival, with his sister confirming his death yesterday.
“This shocking news has rocked our family entirely, Charlie was loved by so many,” his sister Angela posted online.
“Let this be a reminder to you all that life is too short, and hug those closest to you tightly.”
The UK citizen moved to Australia in 2013 and later made Sydney his home.
His family still live in Adelaide and is working with UK authorities to bring his body back to Australia.
The real estate consultant has worked with property firms including McGrath and Belle since moving from Coventry in the United Kingdom.
Local police told 9News they have launched an investigation and questioned two witnesses.
An online fundraising page has been set up to bring the young amateur boxing champion’s body back to Australia.
Tributes have described him as a “cherished” family member and “mate to so many”.
“He had the biggest heart and personality,” Beverley Page said.
“Everyone who had the fortune of meeting him loved him.
“His contagious smile, good looks and charm were only a few of his many qualities and he will be terribly missed by so many.”
